Learner Licence
Our learner licence workshop has seen a number of upgrades and improvements since 2013 and today, we think we’ve got it sorted.
Our workshop will teach you everything you need to know to pass the learner licence theory test, ensure you have the correct ID required by NZTA and transport you to VTNZ to sit your test.
Workshops start at 9am to ensure we have enough time throughout the day to teach you what you need to know to pass the learner theory test.
It is important that you do not attend any scheduled appointments under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Eligibility Criteria
- Living within the Waitomo/Ōtorohanga District
- Are over 16 years old
Cost
- If you attend any of our local high schools you will pay $20 towards your test fee.
- If you are working, you are expected to pay your theory test fee of $96.10
- If you are with Work & Income, a referral from your case manager is to be sent to us.
- If you are not in school or working, we will discuss cost with you.
Must arrive to workshop with:
- The correct ID required by NZTA
- Payment (you will be told cost)
