Wheene Nui is available to those eligible to transport young people to and from kaupapa. These events do not include birthday parties or personal use. Wheene nui has 12 seats including the driver, is automatic, runs off diesel, has no boot space but has bluetooth.

Our van is free to use to those eligible, all we ask is that it is well looked, returned cleaner then you found it with a full tank.

Using a first in first serve basis, it’s important you book our van in advance to ensure you secure your booking. Please contact us on 0800 626212 to book our van.

Eligibility Criteria

• You are a school, organisation or group from the Waitomo District only
• All drivers must hold a current Full New Zealand Driver Licence

Our Expectation of Those Using the Van

• Van is being used to transport young people.
• Van is looked after and returned cleaner than you received it.
• Van is returned with a full tank.
• To notify Number Twelve if damages are found.
• Organise damages to be repaired (at your expense).
• No alcohol or drugs to be consumed in or around the van
• Driver is sober when behind the wheel.
